This is what true innovation looks like. From its 3.5L EcoBoost® technology to its ultra-efficient aerodynamics, the Ford GT is the culmination of everything great we do at Ford. And it’s the same passion for innovation that can be seen throughout our entire vehicle lineup.
...LessThe rear wing is built into the overall aerodynamic design of the fuselage, so it enhances airflow even when not deployed. When deployed, it can even change shape to optimize airflow and squeeze out just that extra bit of performance.
A great example of the engineering ingenuity that went into the Ford GT, the buttresses add strength to the chassis and guide airflow over the car while contributing to drag reduction and efficient airflow management. They also reduce the coefficient of drag and contribute to the downforce that optimizes handling and performance.
Its ride height can be lowered approximately 50mm, improving its aerodynamics and lowering its center of gravity for optimal performance on the track.
You’ve Never Seen Anything Like This Before.

Innovation. That’s what the Ford GT is all about. From its aerodynamically optimized shape to its multifunctional buttresses to its extraordinarily powerful 3.5L EcoBoost® V6 engine, everything about the Ford GT is designed to deliver pure performance.
...LessThe Ford GT headlamps combine performance and style. All-LED technology ensures reliable, long-lasting luminosity. Rectangular/horizontal stacking is reminiscent of the original Ford GT.
Ford GT engineers have integrated the performance and stopping power of ultralightweight Brembo™* carbon-ceramic brakes into the design of the Ford GT.

The body of the Ford GT is designed to move air efficiently over, under and around the vehicle. This results in less aero drag and improved performance.
The signature round Ford GT taillamps, but with an ingenious twist. The center of the taillamps is open to vent transmission and engine oil coolers.
The body of the Ford GT as well as the driver’s cabin is made from strong, lightweight carbon fiber. The aluminum subframes efficiently add strength.
The overall teardrop shape is the key to efficiency. It reduces aerodynamic drag and minimizes the disruption of air as it passes through the design.
In addition to being another iconic design element, the exhaust is incorporated into the midsection of the bodywork to maximize diffuser performance at the bottom and to maintain airflow over the top of the body.

In addition to being another iconic design element, the exhaust is incorporated into the midsection of the bodywork to maximize diffuser performance at the bottom and to maintain airflow over the top of the body.
The air inlets just ahead of the rear wheels feed cooling air to the intercoolers, and also act as inlets for engine air intake.
